Peaceful Moments

Some days you don't even feel like you are on the ocean, it's so calm and peaceful. Makes me so thankful that I get to live in such a beautiful place. But not yesterday, yesterday we had clients on board (5 big guys and an 11 year old) makes for a full boat. We tried to fish out in Icy Strait, but the wind and current made it pretty impossible. Trying to fish with the rolls hitting the side of the boat is not fun. We ended up coming inside Port Frederick in hopes of finding some halibut. Luckily, we found some, nothing big, but the guys got to fish for about 1/2 hour before we had to take them back to pick up our next group. Frank stalled to give them more fishing time, and we were about 1/2 late picking up the next group, but everyone was great, we added the 1/2 hour onto the end of the 2nd trip and everyone was happy. This 1 limit halibut per person is a real pain though for people who would like to ship fish home.
